MEDFORD, Mass. – For the first time since 2009, the nationally-ranked No. 12 MIT women's sailing team received plaudits from the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA) as sophomore Chloe Lepert (Belmont, Calif.) and junior Iris Xu (Madison, Wis.) were voted to the All-NEISA Women's Team. Lepert was tabbed to the Skipper Second Team while Xu was placed on the Crews Second Team.

The duo teamed up for eight races this season all within the A Division of each event. Lepert and Xu finished third at the Toni Deutsch Regatta, Yale Women's Intersectional, and Women's Spring Intersectional. They captured fifth place at the Victorian Coffee Urn and Women's Atlantic Coast Championship, ranked eighth at the Women's Interconference Regatta, secured 10th at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl, and were 13th at the Hood Trophy.
