No. 15 MIT Sailing Competes In Midweek Firefly
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Competing in their second Midweek Firefly of the season, the No. 15 MIT coed sailing team sailed to third, fourth, fifth and seventh place finishes out of seven teams on Thursday, October 23.

No. 12 MIT Coed Sailing Finishes First, Eight and Ninth at Firefly/FJ Invite, Finishes Strong at Captain Hurst Bowl and Yale Women's Intersectional
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Led by freshmen Great Farrell (Huntington, N.Y.) and Cutter O’Connell (San Diego, Calif.), the No. 12 MIT coed sailing team recorded first, eighth and ninth place finishes at the Firefly/FJ Invite this past weekend.

Robyn Lesh to Represent MIT Sailing at National Championship
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second time in her career, MIT junior Robyn Lesh (Everson, Wash.) will be competing in the Laser Performance College Sailing Singlehanded Nationals hosted by Western Washington University from Friday, November 7 to Sunday, November 9.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Robyn Lesh (Everson, Wash.) highlighted another successful weekend for the No. 15 MIT co-ed sailing team as she qualified for the National Championship at Western Washington University in November.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In another full weekend of competition, the No. 15 MIT coed sailing team captured first place at the St. Mary’s Fall Inter-Conference regatta and fifth at the Hood Trophy, which was hosted by Tufts University.

Sailing Has Solid Outing at Midweek Firefly Regatta
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its first Midweek Firefly Regatta of the season, the MIT sailing team claimed fourth, 13th, 14th, 17th, and 18th place out of 20 teams on Thursday afternoon.

Sailing Earns Top 10 Finishes at Mrs. Hurst Bowl and Hatch Brown Trophy
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT’s sailing team continued their momentum from a week ago with two strong performances this past weekend at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl and Hatch Brown Trophy. The Engineers finished fourth at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl and sixth at the Hatch Brown Trophy.

MIT Sailing Finishes Among Top Three In Three Regattas
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its first full weekend of competition, the MIT sailing team recorded runner-up performances at the Toni Deutsch Regatta and Phillip Harman Cup, while placing third at the Penobscot Bay Open, sixth at the Harvard Invitational and 131th at the Harry Anderson Trophy.

Sailing Collects ICSA Academic Accolades
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT sailing team saw Iris Xu ’14 (Madison, Wis.) and seniors Laura Dunphy (Shelburne, Vt.) and Kayla Ngan (Sudbury, Mass.) receive academic accolades from the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) this week. Xu earned a spot on the All-Academic first team, becoming the first female sailor and fourth overall to be a repeat first-team pick. Dunphy and Ngan, meanwhile, were tabbed for their first awards from the association as they represented the Engineers on the all-conference team.
