Squash Shines at CSA National Team Championship

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Competing for the Chaffee Cup at the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championship, the MIT squash team fell to Vanderbilt University, 6-3, in the title match. The Engineers made program history by opening the weekend with back-to-back wins as they topped University of Washington, 6-3, and University of California-Berkeley, 5-4, en route to the championship tilt.

West Hubbard, John Kucharczyk, and Austin Anderson each completed the weekend undefeated while Sunny Long and Steve Howland both posted ledgers of 2-1. In addition, Abhi Mitra, Joey Lemberg, and Mick Zomnir nearly pulled off several five-game battles.
