Sam Gould is beginning his first year as the Associate Head Coach of the MIT Squash Team after serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the past two seasons.

Gould attended Stanford University where he played No. 1 on the team ladder for all four years.  During his junior and senior seasons, he served as the captain and led the team to top 25 finishes in the CSA end-of-season rankings both years.  In addition to the time he spent on the court, he also volunteered as the Athletic Director for Xtreme Squash, an academic and athletic enrichment program for underserved middle school students from Redwood City, Calif.

Gould earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford in 2011 and, since graduation, has been working as the Director of Youth Ministry for the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.
