Mike D'Auria Named First Team All-Conference
March 2, 2005
D'Auria finished fourth in the league in scoring (16.3 points per game) and third in assists (4.2), the only player to finish in the top four in both categories. He was also the league's second-highest rebounding guard, averaging 4.6 boards.
For his career, D'Auria has scored 942 points and made 240 feeds. His assist total is the fifth-highest in the history of the program.
D'Auria was named Second Team All-Conference following the 2003-04 campaign. Earning his second conference honor, he joins Craig Heffernan (1999-00, 2000-01) and Kyle Doherty (2001-02, 2002-03) as the only MIT players to earn multiple league honors from the NEWMAC.
