Men’s Heavyweight Crew Competes at the Princeton Chase

THE BASICS:

- Event: Princeton Chase

- Location: Princeton, N.J. (Lake Carnegie)

- The Lead: Racing at the three-mile Princeton Chase on Sunday, the MIT men's heavyweight crew team saw its Varsity 8 capture 24th place while the second Varsity 8 ranked 34th out of 37 entries.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Varsity 8 recorded a time of 13:26.145 which placed it 13th among the first varsity boats and 24th overall. The second Varsity 8, meanwhile, logged a time of 13:52.929, putting it 10th among the "B" boats for the second year in a row and 34th place in the overall standings. In addition, the Engineers improved upon last year's ranking of 39th.
