High School: A 2009 graduate of Lakeside High School … selected to train and compete at the invitation-only US Junior National Team Sweep selection camp … fourth in the men’s lightweight 4+ and gold medalist in the men’s high school 8+ at US Rowing NW Regional Championships … Lakeside crew’s MVP … most inspirational award … also a letterwinner in swimming … team captain … helped lead the team to a fourth-place finish at the state championship … National Merit Commended Scholar … Summa Cum Laude Gold Medal Award on the National Latin Exam … Washington State Honor Award … three-time recipient of the Paul Robeson Scholar Athlete Award.
