MIT Dominates at NFC Dual Meet

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - The MIT men's fencing team overpowered its opponents at the Northeast Fencing Conference dual meet held at the University of New Hampshire by winning 94 out of 108 bouts.

The Engineers opened the day with a 27-0 blanking of Boston University and then went on to defeat UMass-Amherst, 21-6. Tech posted a 25-2 victory over the host Wildcats before beating Tufts University, 21-6.

Trevor Chang and Samuel Korb registered records of 12-0 and 11-0, respectively, leading the epee squad to a mark of 33-3. William Walsh had the best showing in the sabre events, finishing 11-1 on the day. Jason Chen went undefeated in foil with a 12-0 ledger.
