CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Seniors Bryan Beller (Dix Hills, N.Y.) and Ernie Park (Plainsboro, N.J.) along with sophomore Elliot Sykora (Wilmette, Ill.) were second team all-conference selections as announced by the Pilgrim Lacrosse League earlier this week. The trio along with seven other players represented the Engineers on the academic all-conference team.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Nationally-ranked No. 14 Springfield College rattled off eight unanswered goals en route to a 12-2 win over MIT in semifinal action of the Pilgrim Lacrosse League tournament on Wednesday night. The Engineers, who made their fourth straight postseason appearance, close their campaign with a ledger of 7-8.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – With the final spot in the Pilgrim Lacrosse League Championship Tournament on the line for both teams, MIT rallied from a three-goal fourth quarter deficit to defeat Clark University, 8-7, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon. Junior Sean Burke (Centennial, Colo.) netted the game-winner with 33 seconds on the clock, resulting in his fifth goal of the day. Senior Chris Johnson (Amherst, Mass.), who tallied a game-high six points on five goals and an assist, accounted for the Cougars’ first five goals of the day.
NORTON, Mass. – An 8-1 run that spanned the second and third quarters propelled Wheaton College to a 10-5 win over MIT in a Pilgrim Lacrosse League game on Wednesday afternoon. Senior Ernie Park (Plainsboro, N.J.) earned four assists with three coming on goals by freshman Bill Kelleher (Pittsburgh, Pa.).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following two outstanding performances in net, MIT junior goalie Christopher Rullan (Wexford, Mass.) was selected for Pilgrim Lacrosse League Player of the Week accolades. In a 2-0 week for the Engineers, he generated 21 saves, a 2.29 goals against average, and a .840 save percentage as he allowed four goals in 105 minutes of action.

Junior John Hojnoski (West Springfield, Mass.) led the way for the Buccaneers with two goals.
WESTON, Mass. – In the inaugural meeting between both programs, MIT rattled off 10 straight goals en route to a 14-2 victory over Regis College in a Pilgrim League men’s lacrosse game on Wednesday night. Senior Ernie Park (Plainsboro, N.J.) powered the Engineers with three goals and two assists.
BABSON PARK, Mass. – Babson College scored after 41 seconds expired and never looked back as it went on to defeat MIT, 14-6, in a Pilgrim League men’s lacrosse game on Saturday afternoon. Junior Gabe Blanchet (Hadley, Mass.) paced the Engineers with two goals and an assist to go along with four groundballs.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Late in the third quarter sophomore Joel Santisteban (Lawrence, N.Y.) broke a tie while freshman Jake Slonaker (West Windsor, N.J.) added an insurance goal to lift MIT to an 8-6 win over Salem State University in a non-conference men’s lacrosse tilt on Wednesday. Slonaker, sophomore Ben Hessels (Laytonsville, Md.), and junior Gabe Blanchet (Hadley, Mass.) each registered two goals for the Engineers. Senior Nate Arminio (Reston, Va.) and freshman Corey Davis (Wakefield, Mass.) both scored twice for the Vikings.

BOSTON, Mass. – In a back-and-forth affair, the MIT men’s lacrosse team came out on top with a 9-8 double overtime victory over UMass Boston on Tuesday afternoon. Freshman Jake Slonaker (West Windsor, N.J.) netted the game-winner 57 seconds into the second extra session to complete the hat-trick for the Engineers.

TAMPA, Fla. – In the first meeting between both programs, the University of Tampa registered a 9-5 victory over the MIT men’s lacrosse team on Sunday night. Junior Gabe Blanchet (Hadley, Mass.) posted two goals for the Engineers whose ledger lowered to 2-2 on the year.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a men’s lacrosse game that saw four ties and four lead changes it was MIT that came out on top, holding the Wentworth Institute of Technology scoreless in the fourth quarter while scoring a pair of its own goals to take a 9-6 victory. Freshman Jake Slonaker (West Windsor, N.J.) scored four goals for the Engineers, while sophomore Steve Glover (Marstons Mills, Mass.) tallied a pair to lead the Leopards.
