Graham Davis Named ECAC New England Co-Rookie of the Year
DANBURY, Conn. – Freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) made history for the MIT men’s lacrosse program when he was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Co-Rookie of the Year on Monday. His ECAC selection is the first for the Engineers and comes after he collected NEWMAC Rookie of the Year and all-conference midfield first-team honors last month.

Five Engineers Selected to Capital One Academic All-District Team
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Five MIT student-athletes were recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) this afternoon as they were selected to the Capital One Academic All-District first team.

John Kramer Receives NEILA Academic Honors
NEWTON, Mass. – For the second year in a row the MIT men’s lacrosse was represented on the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Academic All-New England Team with senior John Kramer (Glastonbury, Conn.) making the list. In order to be selected for this award, seniors must have posted a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher be a significant contributor on the field that resulted in a nomination for conference or regional recognition.

Men’s Lacrosse Earns Six NEWMAC All-Conference Awards
BOSTON, Mass. – On the heels of one of the most successful seasons in program history, the MIT men’s lacrosse team received six all-conference accolades from the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) on Tuesday. Freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) was tabbed for Rookie of the Year honors and secured a spot on the all-conference midfield first team while sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.), junior Paul Orrson (Baltimore, Md.), and freshmen David Klee (East Greenbush, N.Y.) and Christian Jamison (Huntington, N.Y.) also represented the Engineers on the list.

Springfield Comes From Behind to Defeat Men's Lacrosse, 15-9, in NEWMAC Semifinals
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The No. 2 seed Springfield College men's lacrosse team opened up the second half with seven unanswered goals as it rallied for a 15-9 win over No. 3 MIT in the NEWMAC Tournament semifinals on Wednesday on Stagg Field. The loss gives the Engineers a final record of 12-5, their best ledger since they went 13-3 in 1969.

Coach Alessi Previews the NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament

NEWMAC Announces Spring Academic All-Conference Awards
BOSTON, Mass. – A league-leading 73 athletes represented MIT on the 2015 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Spring Academic All-Conference Team. The Engineers finished the year with a conference-high 182 selections, followed by Springfield College with 128.

Springfield Pulls Away to Defeat MIT, 13-9
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Host Springfield College rattled off three unanswered goals during the last seven minutes of regulation to emerge with a 13-9 victory over MIT in a NEWMAC men’s lacrosse game on Saturday. Senior Chris Cook (Tully, N.Y.) registered a hat-trick for the Engineers (12-4, 5-2 NEWMAC) in their regular-season finale.

Men's Lacrosse Comes From Behind to Defeat Wheaton, 10-6, on Senior Night
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – An eight-goal run that spanned the second and third quarters propelled the MIT men’s lacrosse team to a 10-6 victory over Wheaton College in a NEWMAC men’s lacrosse game on Wednesday night. Sophomore Michael Traub (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) and freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) both produced four points for the Engineers (12-3, 5-1 NEWMAC) as Traub scored four goals while Davis registered two goals and two assists. Sophomore Will Morrison (Osterville, Mass.) led the way for the Lyons (9-6, 3-3 NEWMAC) with two goals and an assist.

MIT Tops Massachusetts Maritime, 18-13, in Men's Lacrosse
BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. – Freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) netted five goals, while sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) added four goals and three assists for seven points to lead MIT to an 18-13 NEWMAC men’s lacrosse victory over Massachusetts Maritime Academy on Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium.

Strong First Half Leads Engineers to 19-8 Victory over Emerson
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT men’s lacrosse team outscored Emerson College, 10-3, in the first half en route to a 19-8 NEWMAC victory on Wednesday night. Senior Chris Cook (Tully, N.Y.) compiled four goals and four assists for the Engineers (10-3, 3-1 NEWMAC) who reached the 10-win mark for the first time since 1995. Freshman Diego Rosende (Plantation, Fla.) paced the Lions (5-8, 0-4 NEWMAC) with three goals and an assist.

MIT Sweeps NEWMAC Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors
BOSTON, Mass. – Following a 2-0 week and a pair of outstanding performances, the MIT men’s lacrosse team swept the weekly awards from the NEWMAC as announced by the conference on Monday. Sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) was tabbed for Offensive Player of the Week accolades while junior Eric Bartell (San Diego, Calif.) was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Men's Lacrosse Holds off Clark, 10-8
WORCESTER, Mass. – A five-goal run that spanned the second and third quarters proved to be the difference as the MIT men’s lacrosse team defeated Clark University, 10-8, in a NEWMAC game on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) led all players with five points on two goals and three assists as the Engineers improved to 9-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

SALEM, Mass. – Junior Paul Orrson (Baltimore, Md.) posted four goals, one assist, and three caused turnovers while sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) registered three goals and two assists as the MIT men’s lacrosse team defeated Salem State University, 17-10, on Tuesday night. With the win, the Engineers improved to 8-3 on the season.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A 4-1 run during the last 12 minutes of regulation powered the MIT men’s lacrosse team to a 9-5 victory over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on Tuesday night. Senior Chris Cook (Tully, N.Y.) and freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) both paced the Engineers (7-2) with three points as Cook posted two goals and an assist while Davis registered one goal and two assists. Junior Bo Prozinski (Ashland, Mass.) led the way for the Corsairs (3-6) with two goals and an assist.

Men’s Lacrosse Takes NEWMAC Opener Over Coast Guard, 14-6
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a game played in a steady snow throughout, MIT and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy opened the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) men’s lacrosse season this afternoon. The Engineers scored five goals in the first period and never looked back as they took a 14-6 victory over the Bears.

Sophomore Michael Traub (Aliso Viejo, Calif.) paced the Engineers (5-1) with three goals and an assist to go along with three groundballs.

Big First Half Powers Engineers to 12-8 Victory over Gordon
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A 7-1 run that spanned 25 minutes in the first half propelled the MIT men’s lacrosse team to a 12-8 victory over Gordon College at Roberts Field on Thursday afternoon. Sophomore Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) generated a game-high five points on a goal and four assists to go along with five groundballs for the Engineers (5-0). Junior Roger Evans (Oxford, Pa.) paced the Fighting Scots with four goals as their ledger lowered to 3-5 for the year.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) halted a fourth quarter comeback, netting the game's final goal at 2:14, which lifted the Engineers to an 11-9 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday afternoon at Roberts Field at Steinbrenner Stadium.

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Freshman Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) scored two goals late in the fourth quarter to cap the only three-goal run for either side in the contest as MIT secured a 12-10 men's lacrosse victory over the University of New England on Saturday afternoon. The Engineers improve to 3-0 on the year, leveling the all-time series with the Nor'easters (3-2) at two games apiece. The net score over the four meetings is 39-39.
