Boston, Mass. (April 10) – MIT junior Graham Davis (Crofton, Md.) was tabbed for NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week accolades for the second time this year as announced by the conference on Monday. In a 2-0 week for the Engineers, he generated eight goals and three assists for 11 points.
Last Tuesday, Davis produced five goals in a 19-13 win over Castleton University. He then recorded three goals and three assists, including setting up what proved to be the game-winning goal, in a 13-10 victory over Babson College. The Engineers' win over the Beavers last Saturday was their first since the 2009 season.
MIT (7-3, 2-0 NEWMAC) returns to action on Friday, April 14 when it travels to NEWMAC rival Clark University for an 8:00 p.m. start.
