Newton, Mass. (June 1) – Harris Stolzenberg (Weston, Fla.) will take the field one more time in an MIT uniform when he plays in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star game on Friday, June 2 at Springfield College.
The game will take place at Stagg Field at 6:30 p.m. and will feature the top graduating students from Divisions I, II, and III. All players and coaches were nominated by the head coaches within NEILA. Players were then ranked and selected by a committee awarding seniors from all three NCAA divisions who played their college career in the New England region.
The 2017 NEWMAC Athlete of the Year and a four-time NEWMAC All-Conference selection, Stolzenberg registered at least one point in every game he played resulting in an MIT record of 268 career points. He also established the Institute standard for career assists (134) while ranking third in goals (134) and ninth in caused turnovers (27). This year, Stolzenberg paced the conference in assists (37), assists per game (2.31), points (76), and points per game (4.75) while ranking third in goals (39) and goals per game (2.44).
