    MIT Soccer Teams Receive Academic Honors from the NSCAA CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – MIT was the only institution in the NEWMAC to have both of its soccer programs earn the College Team Academic Award sponsored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). A total of 789 colleges, universities, and junior colleges received this honor while 154 qualified for the award on both sides by obtaining a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the 2010-11 academic year.
