Ken Bovell is in his first year of coaching at MIT and comes with over 25 years of proven success as a coach at many levels. He was born in, and grew up playing soccer in Trinidad. Upon coming to the United States he played soccer at Boston College and was a semi-professional player in the L.A.S.A. League.
Bovell has been an ODP coach for many years and has worked with players at the high school, college and club levels. His teams have won state championships and regional championships and contended for national championships as well. He has worked with many players who have gone on to have successful careers in college and beyond and holds a USSF "B" Coaching License.
