Vinny Papageorgiou is entering his second year as an assistant coach for the MIT men’s soccer program. He comes to the Engineers after being a four-year starter in net at Franklin Pierce University. Papageorgiou earned CoSIDA Academic All-America, NSCAA All-America and Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Year honors. He led the Ravens to multiple conference championship victories, including an appearance in the NCAA Final Four.

Papageorgiou has worked with Massachusetts Olympic Development Program as a goalkeeper coach. He will be working with MIT’s goalkeepers throughout the season. Upon graduating in May 2012, Papageorgiou received his Bachelor of Science degree in sports and recreation management with a minor in management.
