Laurent Charpentier Named National Swimmer of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Laurent Charpentier added to an awards-filled regular season after being named the Division III Counsilman Hunsaker National Collegiate Swimmer of the Week.

Charpentier, who hails from Aigues-Montes, France, had two wins at the non-scoring MIT Invitational. The senior star won the 100 butterfly (52.08), the 200 individual medley (1:58.16) and swam to a second place finish in the 50 freestyle (21.65). Charpentier also assisted on the second place 400 medley relay (3:34.51) and the second place 200 medley relay.
