2016 MIT Fall Invitational Information

Below is all of the information regarding this weekend's MIT men's tennis Fall Invitational, which is scheduled to take place from Friday, October 14 through Sunday, October 16 at the duPont Tennis Courts and the J.B. Carr Tennis Bubble on the campus of MIT.

Results will be updated on this page throughout the three-day event and will be sent to each participating institution at the conclusion of play each day. There will be a 64 singles main draw as well as a 32 doubles main draw. After the first round of play in each bracket, consolation brackets will be made an played to conclusion.

Tournament Schedule

Friday, October 14th
9 a.m. - Round of 64 and 32 singles as well as first round in consolation bracket.
- Round of 32 and 16 doubles matches. 

Saturday, October 15th
9 a.m. - Round of 16 and 8 singles in both the championship and consolation brackets.
- Round of 8 and semifinals of doubles matches in both championship and consolation brackets. 

Sunday, October 16th
9 a.m. - Semifinals and championships of singles and doubles play in both brackets.

Main draw singles matches will be best two out of three sets with a full third (weather permitting). Consolation will have a super breaker for the third - except for the finals which will have a full third. The main draw and back draw doubles will be a pro set and the final for each with be two out of three sets with a super breaker for the third set
