No. 21 Bates Defeats MIT, 7-2

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Nationally-ranked No. 21 Bates College topped MIT, 7-2, in a non-conference men's tennis match on Friday. The loss lowered the Engineers' ledger to 4-1 on the year while the Bobcats improved to 1-1.

MIT returns to action on Tuesday, March 31 when it hosts Salem State College. On Thursday, March 12, Bates will host Babson College in its home-opener.
