Egan and Nichols Named NEWMAC Doubles Team of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Following a pair of hard-fought victories, the No. 2 doubles tandem of Mark Egan and Peden Nichols was named the NEWMAC Doubles Team of the Week. The selection marks the second conference weekly award given to nationally-ranked No. 22 MIT this season.
The pair recorded a 9-8 (5) decision against No. 16 Bowdoin College in a 5-3 loss last Friday. The next day, they outlasted their opponents from Babson College, 9-8 (2), en route to a 9-0 team victory.
