Engineers Win Three Events At Home Coed Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The men's track team won three events at Saturday's home Coed Invitational. Sophomore Joe Roy-Mayhew finished the one mile run in 4:34.38 to take first place. Senior Eric Khatchadourian placed first in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8:53.03, and freshman James Oleinik's mark of 47-04.00 was good for first in the shot put.
MIT senior Thad Wozniak had a good showing in the long jump. He hit the 20-01.75 mark and took second place.
The Engineers continue competition when they host the New England Division III Championships on Friday, February 17. The meet will start at 12:00 p.m. on Friday and will resume on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
