Engineers Battle Harvard in 3-1 Loss
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In its annual meeting with cross-town rival Harvard University, the nationally-ranked No. 7 MIT men's volleyball team fell to the host Crimson, 24-26, 25-20, 25-18, 31-29, on Saturday night. The loss lowered the Engineers' ledger to 10-2 on the year.
Matt Hohenberger paced MIT with 15 kills and four aces as Ken Siebert posted 10 kills and three blocks. Patrick Vatterott notched eight kills while Billy Evans registered six kills and five blocks. Jeremy Velazquez collected six digs as Garrett Winther bolstered the defense with two blocks. Tim Lee rounded out the squad with 39 assists and nine digs.
