Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because I wanted to be challenged and stretched in many directions. I've found that MIT students are extremely talented -- they are not just smart in the classroom but gifted on the court, the stage, and the community. This environment is the best place to learn from others and discover what drives them. MIT is like no other place in the world -- each person is just as bright and open as the next. I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Long Beach Polytechnic High School...Pursuit of Excellence in Chemistry, Physics, and Calculus.

Personal: Son of Kim Ing and Chhomrith Sngiem.
