Why I Chose MIT: After visiting the school and meeting with the team during my Senior year, I discovered that I would be playing volleyball at a high level and getting a great education while making great friends. I was excited about the fact that the guys on the team appreciated each other's hard work both on the court and in the classroom, and that as a Freshmen I was assigned an academic mentor to help me whenever I needed it. I realized that by coming to MIT to play volleyball, I was joining a great atmosphere among my teammates and friends.
