Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because it had the perfect balance that I was seeking in a school. I wanted a school that was challenging, and I wanted to continue my volleyball career. MIT has both. I get the chance to compete at a high level athletically while pursuing a degree at one of the most challenging schools in the world. There wasn't another school that had a more perfect balance for me.

High School: A 2010 graduate of St. Louis University High School...4A State Champions in 2008 and 2010...Calculus Contest top five in 2010...First Honors every semester.

Club: St. Louis CYC (one year), St. Louis High Performance Volleyball Club (six years)...finished fifth at U-16 Junior Nationals in 2008.
