CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In a tough non-conference battle, the MIT men’s volleyball team fell to Lasell College, 22-30, 37-35, 30-23, 31-29, on Friday night. Eric Reuland led the Engineers (2-4) with 16 kills to go along with six digs and two blocks.
Michael Demyttenaere tallied 14 kills, three aces, and two blocks as Scott Pollom added eight kills and two blocks. Garrett Winther notched a team-high four blocks in addition to three aces while Randolph Li bolstered MIT’s attack with six kills. Philip Rogoz and Tim Lee shared setting duties, dishing out 26 and 15 assists, respectively. On the defensive end, Rogoz posted 12 digs as Eugene Jang collected six.
