CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Praveen Pamidimukkala posted 15 kills, a .565 hitting percentage, 11 digs, three blocks, and two aces in MIT's 30-16, 30-20, 30-23 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology on Thursday night. With the victory, the Engineers extended their winning streak to 12 while raising their record to 15-1 overall and 8-0 in North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) New England Division play. The loss lowered the Leopards' ledger to 2-9 on the year and 2-5 in the conference.
Ryan Dean notched 10 kills, six assists, and two aces for MIT while Scott Pollom and Eric Reuland each added eight kills. Michael Demyttenaere connected on all six of his hitting attempts as Pollom notched six blocks. Philip Rogoz finished with 26 assists and three blocks while Caine Jette dished out 14 assists. Matthew Ng paced the defense with 12 digs as Steve Ray recorded two aces.
Justin Kalinkewicz and Dan Tessier each registered eight kills as Kalinkewicz contributed eight digs. Chris Zacchilli distributed 21 assists for Wentworth.
Next up for MIT will be a match-up with Lasell College on Tuesday, Feb. 20 while Wentworth will travel to Mount Ida College on Thursday, Feb. 22.
