CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In a back-and-forth affair, MIT emerged with a 30-19, 28-30, 30-23, 29-31, 19-17 victory over host Elms College in Saturday's non-conference match. The win raised the Engineers' ledger to 14-8 on the year.

Michael Demyttenaere paced MIT with a career-high 17 kills to go along with a .414 hitting percentage and six blocks. Ryan Dean tallied 57 assists, a career-best 26 digs, and four blocks as Praveen Pamidimukkala posted 14 kills and 12 digs. Kenneth Rosche notched 13 kills and a .321 hitting performance while Garrett Winther totaled 12 kills and five blocks. Matthew Ng and Scott Pollom contributed 12 digs and five blocks, respectively, to the Engineers' defensive efforts.
