CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Rob McAndrew became the first member of the MIT men's volleyball team to earn North East Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) Player of the Week honors. He was also selected as the NECVA New England division Player of the Week.
McAndrew notched a hitting percentage of .375 and averaged 5.83 kills, 3.00 digs, and .67 blocks per game in a 2-0 week for the Engineers. He currently ranks third in the nation in kills per game (4.77) and points per game (5.97). McAndrew is fourth in blocking, averaging 1.44 blocks per game.
Tonight, Tech (22-4, 14-2) travels to Harvard University before heading into spring break.
