Ranked 11th in the most recent national poll, the Engineers scored a perfect 15 points by claiming the top seven spots in the field of 116 runners.     Men’s Cross Country Races to Ninth Place at NEICAAA Championships Boston, Mass. – MIT's men’s cross country team returned to action this weekend competing at the NEICAAA Championships. Ranked 13th in the most recent polls, Tech battled the rain and cold to finish ninth in a field of 39 teams and was the second highest scoring Division III squad at the meet. Annually run at historic Franklin Park in Boston, the NEICAAA Championships are one of the oldest collegiate cross country meets dating back to 1912. The meet features teams from Division I, II, and III from across New England.

With temperatures in the 80s at race time, Tech battled the heat and challenging hills of the 8k course that they will revisit for the New England Division III Championships on November 15th.
