Constantinou Compiles Second Consecutive NEWMAC Runner of the Week Honor

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the second consecutive week, MIT senior Fivos Constantinou ran a great race and earned NEWMAC Runner of the Week honors. He placed fifth overall and first among NEWMAC harriers in the 116 runner field at the Jumbo Invitational in Grafton, Mass. He completed the challenging 8k Tufts farm course in 25:58, only 25 seconds behind first place Ryan Agnew of Bentley College. Constantinou's time secured a third place finish for MIT in the seven team competition.

Last weekend at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, Constantinou ran the five mile course in 25:35, placing him 13th overall and first among NEWMAC harriers. He finished ahead of 214 other collegiate runners.
