Lightweights Gear Up for Buffalo, Stanford in First Home Race of the Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT lightweight women’s crew team is preparing for its fourth consecutive weekend of racing, and the first trip down its home course this weekend. On Saturday, Tech will face the Buffalo lightweights and Simmons openweights crews. In the first varsity eight event, at 8:48am, Tech takes on a strong Buffalo lightweight crew and Simmons first varsity openweight eight. The Tech second varsity lightweight eight will line up at 9:12am against Simmons openweight second and third varsity eights.

On Sunday, Tech takes on #2 ranked Stanford University at 7:36am in the second varsity eight and 8:00am in the first varsity eight.

Spectators are welcome at Pierce Boathouse on both mornings. Parking is available in the Albany Street Garage.
