Aaron Manes is in his first year as a volunteer assistant coach of the MIT women's openweight novice team. Originally from Connecticut, Manes is a 2001 graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he competed for three years as a member of the crew team. He is a full-time employee of Safety Insurance in Boston, where he works as an Underwriting Technical Assistant in the Commercial Underwriting Department. Manes assists with the novice rowers, focusing primarily on the second novice crew.
