CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On the heels of capturing its third NEWMAC title in four years, the MIT field hockey team's performance was recognized by coaches around the country as it jumped up two spots in this week's Penn Moto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Coaches Poll. One of two teams to climb the standings, the Engineers now find themselves ranked No. 18 after reappearing on the poll last week.

Toting a 17-2 record, MIT returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 10 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Engineers will face either No. 6 Bowdoin College or SUNY New Paltz at 2:00 p.m. on the campus of William Smith College.
