Women's Lacrosse Smothers Gordon In Season Opener

Freshman Laura Watson scored MIT's first goal of the season just four minutes into the game. Although Gordon quickly responded with a strike of its own, Watson and Lentz led an offensive assault that resulted in eight straight goals for the Cardinal and Gray.

Watson finished her first collegiate game with three goals, while fellow rookie Kaitlin Kamrowski scored twice. Sophomore Hee Jay Kang made 11 saves in the cage to pick up the win for MIT.
