Lauren Nadler joined the Engineers' coaching staff in August 2008 and helped lead the team to a 4-3-2 NEWMAC conference mark and its second consecutive conference tournament semifinals appearance. The following year, the Cardinal and Gray clinched its first NEWMAC Championship crown and a bid to the NCAA tournament.

Prior to her arrival at MIT, Nadler held several coaching positions with Eastern Mass Futebol Club. She joined the club in 2006 and is currently co-head coach of the club's U16 girl's team. Nadler is also the Director of Coaching for the annual Leadership Summit for Girls, an event designed to increase player development and promote wellness for girls ages 9-15 through the game of soccer.

As a player at Lesley University, Nadler was a two-year captain and finished in the top-10 in the North Atlantic Conference for assists her senior year. She also received an NSCAA Academic Award and was a selected to the conference All-Academic Team her junior and senior years. Nadler graduated from Lesley with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005. She continued her education at Tufts University where she earned a master's degree in urban and environmental policy and planning in 2007.

Nadler has a NSCAA National Diploma and NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeping Diplomas.
