BABSON PARK, Mass. - The New England Men's and Women's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) has named MIT freshman Emily Kuo Women's Soccer Player of the Week. In her first collegiate start, Kuo had two goals and three assists in MIT's 5-0 victory over UMass Dartmouth. Kuo’s seven points are the most scored in a single game by an MIT player since the 2007 season. In MIT’s only game this week, Kuo helped the Engineers improve their record to 3-2 and extend their winning streak to three. With four goals and three assists, Kuo now leads the Engineers with 11 points on the season.
