Alisha Lussiez Named NEWMAC Player of the Week
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Alisha Lussiez’s outstanding
performances during the semifinal and championship games of the
NEWMAC Women’s Soccer Tournament earned her Player of the
Week accolades. She recorded a pair of goals to propel the
Engineers to their first NEWMAC Championship.
Lussiez notched the Engineers’ lone marker in the 20th minute
of their 1-0 semifinal victory over Wheaton College. She then
registered her second straight game-winning goal by finding the
back of the net in the 56th minute of the Cardinal and Gray’s
title game against Springfield College.
