Emily Kuo Receives NEWMAC Accolades

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Emily Kuo (Chicago, Ill.) was chosen as the NEWMAC women's soccer Offensive Player of the Week, marking MIT's second straight selection. She tallied three goals and two assists for eight points in a 2-0 week for the Engineers.

Last Tuesday, Kuo posted two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 5-1 win over Husson University. She then added a goal and set up the game-winner in a 2-1 overtime decision against Babson College.

MIT will open up the NEWMAC Championship Tournament by hosting Wellesley College in a first round game on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6:00 p.m.
