Women's Soccer Announces 2014-15 Freshman Class

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Nine incoming freshmen will be added to the roster of the MIT women's soccer team this fall, as announced by head coach Martin Desmarais. The Engineers are coming off a 13-2-6 campaign in 2013 and earned a share of the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season crown for the second consecutive season.

"We are very excited to welcome this year's incoming class to MIT Women's Soccer," said Desmarais, who'll be entering his seventh year at the helm.

"This is one of the strongest classes we have ever had with players from some of the top club teams around the country. They bring experience winning national championships, regional championships and numerous state cups. This class should help add depth to a talented returning roster and also help set the foundation for years of success to come."
