Maddy Evans is entering her first year as an assistant coach with the Engineers.

Evans plays professionally with the Boston Breakers of the National Women’s Soccer League after being selected in the 2013 Collegiate Draft and signed by the Breakers in May 2013.

She played collegiately at The Pennsylvania State University and was part of four consecutive Big Ten Championship Teams. As a captain in 2012, she led the Nittany Lions to the NCAA Division I Championship Finals. She was named Second Team All-Big Ten in 2012 and Academic All-Big Ten for 2010, 2011 and 2012. She finished her career with 11 goals, nine assists and 31 points. While at Penn State, she was also president of the Student Athlete Advisory Board.

Evans was a member of the FC Bucks and won a U.S. Youth Championship with the team as well as seven Eastern Pa. State Cups. She was a seven-year member of the Region 1 ODP team and attended the 2008 U-17 Women’s National Team Camp.
