MIT Softballs Falls in Close Game to Former NCAA Champ Tufts, 4-3
SOMERVILLE, Mass. – MIT scored first and took a two-run lead in the top of the third inning, before ultimately falling to 2013 NCAA Division III champion Tufts University at its final game of the 2014 season by a score of 4-3.

BOSTON, Mass. – A league-leading 74 athletes represented MIT on the 2014 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Spring Academic All-Conference Team. The Engineers finished the year with a conference-high 166 selections, followed by Springfield College with 104.

MIT Softball Holds First-Ever Alumni Game
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Nine alums of the MIT softball team, spanning the classes of 1990 to 2013, returned to Briggs Field for the program’s first-ever alumni game on Saturday, Sept. 14. Current players and alums teamed up and were split into two teams, playing seven innings before working up an appetite and attending a lunch reception that was held in the Zesiger Center lobby.

Softball Adds Six Freshmen to Roster for 2014
