Melissa Schellberg enters her first year as a volunteer
assistant coach at MIT. She has coached at softball clinics in the
New England area for the past three years, primarily working with
catchers, infielders and hitters.
Schellberg was the starting third baseman for Harvard from
2006-2010 and was co-captain her senior year. A four time All-Ivy
Selection, she finished her career with the most assists in school
history with 369, most games played with 184, most at-bats with 531
and tied for most games started with 180. She helped lead her team
to a 2007 Ivy League Championship and qualify for the NCAA
tournament.
