
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Coming on the heels of one of the most successful campaigns in Institute history, MIT placed 11th among all Division III schools in the National Association of College Directors of Athletics (NACDA) annual Learfield Sports Directors Cup. This was the highest ranking for the Engineers in the 14-year history of the program and the first time they were the best performers in the New England Womens and Mens Athletic Conference (NEWMAC). CAMBRIDGE, Mass. The MIT swimming and diving teams racked up a record number of All-Academic accolades from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The men paced all Division III squads with 13 individual honors while also ranking eighth for the team award. MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. Last week, five members of MITs swimming and diving team traveled to the University of Minnesota for the 2010 NCAA Division III Championships hosted by Beloit College and the College of Wooster. After four days of competition, Techs women finished 14th of 51 teams, their second-best performance at the national meet. READ MORE
