CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Amy Jacobi split 24.6 to anchor MIT's winning 200 free relay, which provided the Engineers with a 153-144 victory over Colby College on Saturday. Jacobi enjoyed an outstanding afternoon as she also won the 50 and 100 free. She authored a clutch finish in the 100, winning with a time of 55.37 to out-touch Colby's Chelsea Heneghan (55.77).
On Sunday, Jacobi won the 100 free in 54.65 and led a 2-3-4 finish for MIT in the 50 free while anchoring Tech's winning 200 medley relay. The Engineers split with Coast Guard and Springfield, although Jacobi's 53.6 anchor leg in the decisive 400 free relay yielded the fastest split of the day.
