Women's Tennis Battles Babson

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT women’s tennis team recorded a hard-fought 7-2 win over Babson College on Tuesday as a trio of singles matches went to three sets while a doubles match was settled with a tiebreaker. The victory raised the Engineers’ ledger to 4-0 on the year and 3-0 in NEWMAC play while the Beavers (5-1, 2-1 NEWMAC) suffered their first loss of the season. Both teams will travel to non-conference foes on Thursday, Oct. 2. MIT will make the trip to Tufts University while Babson will visit Bates College.
