Sept. 15, 2004
CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - Wellesley College defeated MIT, 7-2, for the first time in three years on Tuesday afternoon. Despite the outcome, head coach Carol Matsuzaki was pleased with the effort from the young squad, putting up a tenacious fight in each match.
For the second match in a row, Serena Lin had a dramatic win at No. 1 singles. After losing the first set, 6-2, she changed the pace of her game by mixing up her shots.
