Freshmen Maryann Gong (Livermore, Calif.) and Christina Wicker (Oak Harbor, Wash.), both of whom are coming off strong cross country seasons, led the way in the 800m, finishing in first and second with times of 2:20.52 and 2:23.72. Senior Louise van den Heuvel (Nashua, N.H.) was the fastest runner in the 1,000m with a 3:00.53. Classmate Kaitlin Allen (Bedford, N.H.) came third in 3:07.21.

Junior Michelle Johnson (Glendora, Calif.), who came third in the Long Jump with a 16-04.25, claimed first in the Triple Jump with a 35-00.25. Senior Stephanie Birkhimer (Oneonta, N.Y.) was second in 34-04.25.

In the final two events of the day, the Shot Put and the Weight Throw, MIT took the top two spots in both. Sophomore Isabella Stuopis (Amherst, N.H.) was first in the Shot Put with a throw of 43-00.50, breaking her own MIT record, and freshman Jackie Vahey (Winchester, Mass.) came in second with a 37.06.50.
