Women's Track Competes at All-New England Championship

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - This past weekend, MIT participated in the All-New England Championships held at the University of New Hampshire. Julia Espel and Meri Silberstein posted the top finishes for the Engineers by placing 10th in the 3,000 steeplechase (11:23.15) and the long jump (16'8.75"), respectively.
Gwen Johnson clocked a time of 18:53.77 in the 5,000 to finish 17th while Nancy Benedetti was 18th in the 10,000 in 41:35.10. Tech's 4x800 relay placed 10th (9:46.79) while the 4x100 was 12th (51.38).
