BABSON PARK, Mass. - Senior Aline Thomas highlighted MIT's representation on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference postseason awards docket, collecting two of the Engineers' five First Team All-Conference honors. Thomas, who won both the shot put and hammer, served as the meet's most outstanding field performer after finishing the weekend as the only athlete on either side to win two throwing events.

Junior Emily Hwang set a meet record en route to First Team All-Conference accolades in the pole vault while senior Leanne Veldhuis delivered her strongest effort of the spring en route to a victory and first team honors in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles. Jacqui Wentz, who enjoyed a great all-around meet, easily finished ahead of the field in the steeplechase to earn her first all-conference award in track and field.

Andrea Bradshaw (800m), Adrienne Bolger (1500m), Amy Magnuson (long jump) and Lauren McCarthy (10000m) earned Second Team All-Conference honors after finishing as the individual runner-up in their respective events.
