Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT not only for the prestige of the school, but also for the friendly and helpful environment. Both students and teachers are extremely willing to offer a helping hand. From the time I stepped foot on campus, I could envision myself happily spending the next four years here. Cambridge is beautiful in the fall, and is so near Boston that I could get the big city experience without actually living in the city. Meeting the volleyball team with girls who are so dedicated to the sport and to one another just sealed the deal.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Rampart High School...captain senior year...two-time all-conference...first team academic all-state three times...2008 league, district and regional champions...finished third in state tournament...National Honor Society.
Club: Colorado Juniors Volleyball Club (five years)...finished in the top-30 nationally in 2010 and 2011.
